Built in 2015 this modern take on traditional home shape is clad in charred cedar and the traditional standing seam roof material that wraps down. It’s has 3 beds and a multi-use bath upstairs with a open main floor. Verticality is infused throughout from the roof porch to the car port tucked under. The small foot print leaves space for use of the yard. Pre-certified by PHIUS this house fell short on air tightness (Passivehaus is hard), but it’s still net zero with 4.8kW of PV on the roof.
